We have invested across multiple industries but have a focus in real estate, renewable energy, medical, business products & services, media, internet (web services), mobile, and financial services.
Investors New York makes investments and provides the required capital for most projects or deals, in most sectors and areas.
We review all business initiatives submitted to us by entrepreneurs. You can be the Manager of an early stage start-up, of an established company interested to expand or, you can be an entrepreneur with a great business idea or with just a good real estate deal.
Prepare a one page executive summary outlining the key characteristics of the project, deal or company.
We will have our best experts looking into your business suggestion. Please feel free to send us your information using this email:
When we make investment decisions we understand that investments in early-stage, privately-held ventures are risky and can be highly non-liquid.
We look for entrepreneurs than can accept reasonable revenue plans. Most financial plans do not achieve their revenue projections, so we will evaluate plans under the assumption of a revenue shortfall.
As a result of this, gross margin and cash positions are critical variables and not always easy to manage.
We know that sometimes investments can take years before capital is returned, and, in some cases, even as a result of direct or indirect market conditions, some companies can go out of business and no money is returned to us. We take some of the risk!
Investors New York looks for business ideas, companies that can grow quickly and can manage the scale necessary to succeed. A plan to generate significant profits beyond the initial product idea must be very clear. You must make sure you have or can make, even with our assistance, a strategy to achieve multiple sources of revenue.
We are very happy to invest in new ideas, rather than incremental enhancements to common products and services.
However, we accept both.
We also fund mergers and acquisitions. Do you plan to sell the company to an established corporation in your industry? Or will the exit be through subsequent rounds of financing, venture capital or the public markets? Investors New York is interested in the details of your strategy.
